TCSAR Volunteers & TCSO SAR Employees
TCSAR volunteers are on call and available to respond 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year, operating under the jurisdiction of the Teton County Sheriff’s Office. With the addition of a year-round SAR helicopter in October 2023, the team has added a full-time aviation crew.
Every year, TCSAR volunteers donate a collective 10,000 hours back to the community in the way of SAR-related activities (including rescues, trainings, and education). They regularly hone their skills in all areas of rescue procedures, including:
