On the Sixth Day of Christmas...

On the sixth day of Christmas, TCSAR gave to me… a helping hand.

The past two years have been the busiest ever for TCSAR. In 2021 and 2022, the team was called 228 times, with the volunteers actively entering the field on nearly 150 missions.

But here’s the thing: Instead of tiring from an increased callout volume, the volunteers have ramped up their enthusiasm for helping others in need.

On the Fifth Day of Christmas...

On the fifth day of Christmas, TCSAR gave to me… lunch.

Aaaaand, a lot more. Here’s a look at how your generous support provides nourishment for TCSAR volunteers all year long:

💧16: Cases of bubbly water every month. That’s 720 pounds of bubbly water per year.

🥜 28: Pounds of peanut butter pretzels.

🔋 240: Pounds of Kate’s Real Food bars. That’s 3,840 Kate’s bars. Thanks, Kate!

🌯 480: Breakfast burritos.

🥪 384: Lunches served.

🍗 550: Dinners served.

🍕 880: Slices of pizza.

🍎 280: Apples.

🦌 1: Meat on a shovel.

On the Fourth Day of Christmas...

On the fourth day of Christmas, TCSAR gave to me… nerves of steel.

TCSAR volunteers are often called to jump into dynamic, rapidly changing situations. So it helps to be calm, cool, and collected. Turns out they even do this on their own time, as volunteer Lizzie Watson clearly demonstrates (she's the calm one, btw).
