Empathy Runs Through It: TCSAR's Swiftwater Skills Go Deep

It’s the last week to donate to TCSAR Foundation through Old Bill’s. Please help our team of volunteers stay afloat

Each summer, more than 300,000 people float the Snake River in Jackson Hole, not including all the trips on its many tributaries. Though many of the accidents that occur on our local waterways are usually handled by commercial outfitters, since they are almost always first on scene, TCSAR volunteers have the skills and swiftwater training ensure a ready response when called upon to enact efficient rescues.

Being able to paddle or navigate any class of water, and then perform swiftwater rescue and emergency first aid, if necessary, are yet more life-saving skills held by the team’s volunteers.

Thanks to your help during this Old Bill’s Giving Season, the team continues to be ready on land, air or water. You have until 5 p.m. on Friday, September 18, to have your donation generously matched. Don’t let this opportunity float on by.
